Member Events and Social Affairs Overview OLD SITE OLD SITE
We make every attempt to offer our Events and Affairs on the THIRD weekend of the month to make scheduling easy!
We offer:
Three to Five Mounted Clinics annually in February, March, April, October and November.
Two or more "Sign Up to Tune Up" shows for our Upper Level Recognized Diviion riders where a USEF "S", FEI, or higher judge is offered for the weekend to provide education and feedback in our Showposium schooling setting.
Two educational clinics, either mounted or non-mounted, in January and October.
Two "purely social" affairs in July and August. Plus there is a Year-end Awards Gala where both of our riding divisions are awarded. (Recognized Riders and Schooling Show Riders)
--FLASH!-- educational and social affairs are also offered when the opportunity presents itself.
All of our events and affairs have some continuing education component.
Our Schooling Shows:
We call them Showposiums.
Show + Symposium = Showposium
A word invented by us! Our schooling show format is full of educational opportunities.
Executive Board Meetings:
Executive Board Meeting are held monthly and are open to attendance by any Society Member. Dates are posted online and meetings usually occur the second Tuesday of each month. Meeting are usually phone in, conference call meetings. This allows Board Members to reside anywhere in our service area.

Show + Symposium = Showposium
A word invented by us! Our schooling show format is full of educational opportunities.
- Friday pre-show clinic: lessons and auditing with the weekend's judge who is always a licensed USEF official, "r" or higher!
- 2 or more of the 5 shows will have an "S" or higher official so our upper level riders have schooling opportunities.
- An "S" or higher judge is secured for September, a month before Region 3 Finals, so those Members competing may receive invaluable feedback.
- Master-the-Test format: Saturday and Sunday instant judge feedback following actual test rides. The judge is able to spend some time discussing how to improve your test score and in most cases gives actual ridden instruction.
- Judge Lecture Series: Saturday afternoon our guest judge presents a lecture in conjunction with our Member Share-a-Plate social gathering. Bring a dish to share and your favorite beverage!
- Member Discussions: Multiple informal stable discussions take place among Society Members on various Dressage topics
Executive Board Meetings:
