Group Member Organization Outreach Program
The Society GMO Outreach program was developed to create an open dialogue between GMOs in regard to newsletter content sharing, educational opportunities and showing offerings.
The program is multifold, the first element takes place on the national level and is the sharing of quality newsletter content. Currently there are multiple USDF Newsletter Award winning GMOs participating. The goal of this program is to improve GMO newsletter content by providing an array of pertinent quality articles which may be downloaded and utilized by any GMO in their newsletter. We are always looking for pertinent articles to include, so if your organization has published any general information articles that may be offered to share nationally, please forward them to us at vicepresident@firstcoastclassicaldressage.com so we may include them in the offerings.
The next element of the program is regional: we would like to take a moment to encourage all GMOs to take advantage of their Regional website calendars to post clinics, schooling shows and recognized shows to facilitate a “one stop shop” for announcements of GMO events taking place within each Region.

The third element of the program takes place locally and is the promotion of shows, educational events and clinics between neighboring GMOs. This will break the common pattern of co-existence without interaction between neighboring GMOs and allow the membership of each GMO to be better informed of educational dressage opportunities taking place within their geographical area, allowing those members the opportunity to budget for and schedule participation. To do this, neighboring GMO executive boards will have to reach out to one another, send details on their group's offerings and promote the offerings of neighboring groups to their memberships. We encourage each GMO to reach out to their direct neighbors!
